William Morgan misused the authority and account access granted to his wife and unlawfully spent nearly $10,000 intended to support local youth programs.

William Morgan is a 36-year-old resident of Davie County, North Carolina, who had previously been involved with the Davie Youth Football League.

He was recently arrested for embezzling funds from the Davie Youth Football League, a local youth football league.

According to officials from the Davie County Sheriff’s Office, Morgan used a debit card to withdraw nearly $10,000 from the league’s account between January and March.

The transactions were discovered after the organization self-reported missing funds, prompting an investigation.

Morgan later confessed to taking the money, but has not publicly disclosed how he spent the huge amount of money in three months.

Deputies revealed that the card he used belonged to his wife, who held an official position in the youth football league.

When questioned about his wife’s involvement, Morgan stated that she was unaware of the transactions and that he had used her card without her knowledge.

He emphasized that she had no role in the embezzlement and expressed regret for implicating her through his actions.

In March 2026, he was arrested by the Davie County Sheriff’s Office.

As of now, William has not made any public appearances or statements following his arrest.

William Morgan Told Investigators That He Acted Alone, Without The Concern Of His Wife!

William Morgan’s wife served as an officer in the Davie Youth Football League.

Her position gave her access to the league’s financial accounts, including the debit card.

Details about her personal life remain limited due to the sensitive nature of the case in which she was involved.

As of now, there are no publicly released statements from William Morgan’s wife regarding the missing funds case.

While she was an officer in the organization and had access to the account, Morgan claimed she was unaware of the withdrawals he made using her debit card.

Authorities have not charged her, and the investigation has so far supported Morgan’s claim that she was not complicit in the incident.

The case continues to raise questions about oversight and accountability in community-run organizations.

Moreover, the public has expressed deep frustration over the betrayal of trust, especially in an organization dedicated to uplifting children through sports.

While the investigation is ongoing, community members and league officials are urging for transparency and accountability.

Authorities continue to gather evidence and clarify the extent of William Morgan’s involvement.
