Kordell Kah, a former Bearden High School student-athlete and Maryville College basketball alum, passed away on May 12, 2026, leaving his family and community.

Kordell Kah Was A Multi-Sport Athlete At Bearden High School!

, a Knoxville native, was born to parents Kari and Peter Kah and raised along his two sisters, Kaitlyn and Kelsey, and one brother, Konnor.

He was a from Bearden High School in Knoxville, Tennessee, who excelled both academically and athletically, particularly in basketball and football.

After graduating from Bearden High School, he continued his education and athletic , where he majored in Neuroscience.

During that time period, he played forward for the Fighting Scots men’s basketball team, contributing an average of 3.0 points and 1.0 rebounds per game.

His team finished first in the district with a 15-1 district record and achieved an impressive 32-5 record.

Nationally, his team was ranked #42, while in the state, they held the #1 ranking.

Additionally, over his collegiate career, he played 86 games, averaging 6.97 points, 3.63 rebounds, and 0.62 assists per game.

Regarding his basketball career, Kordell Kah was a highly ranked basketball player in Tennessee, recognized for his impressive court performances.

He demonstrated his competitive edge at the statewide level and was ranked in the top 6 in the state for one statistical category.
