Coach Scott Thomas Spahr’s wife, Kim Spahr, worked at SLD of the Adidas Group (REEBOK).

Scott Thomas Spahr, 57, who served as a coach and the CEO of the Boys and Girls Club of Morristown, on Wednesday, June 4, 2026, at Roudebush VA Medical Center in Indianapolis.

The cause of death has not been revealed. As per his family, visitation will be held on Sunday, June 8, 2026, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, 124 E. North St., in Morristown.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 9, 2026, at 10 a.m.

Amber Jean Salter, an International Business College graduate, took to his Facebook handle and mourned the tragic death of Scott. He wrote,

Rest easy, Coach Scott 🙏🏼. Your tireless dedication to our youth community has left an indelible mark, particularly on our girl “P”(as you called her). You shared a great love for one thing-BASKETBALL. Your unwavering faith in her potential has been a constant source of motivation, and she’ll never forget being called the next Caitlin Clark by you(as she often reminds us) lol. You’ve inspired a generation of young athletes, and your memory will be cherished forever. Our condolences go out to the Sphar family on the loss of an extraordinary individual.

Tiffany Nicole also took to her Facebook handle and wrote,

Such a great guy! 🖤 thinking of his family and friends!

SportClips manager Macey Garlitch also mourned the loss of coach Scott by stating,

I love and will definitely miss you coach❤️❤️❤️ Thank you for everything u have done for me!

Scott Thomas Spahr And Kim Spahr’s Married Life Ended After 22 Years

Coach Scott Thomas Spahr married Kim Spahr on October 5, 2002.

Kim was born to her father, James Wooten, who went to Arlington High School and worked at Bunge (grain).

According to Kim’s official page, she resides in Morristown, Indiana, and attended Rushville Consolidated High School.

Later, she attended International Business College from 1995 to 1997.

She previously held the role of SLD at the Adidas Group (Reebok) and, since March 2003, has been as the team lead for inventory control at Adidas.

In December 2016, Kim was honored with the departmental Employee of the Year award issued by Adidas.

Scott and Kim’s married life ended after 22 years following the tragic death of Scott Spahr.

Scott Thomas Spahr And Kim Spahr Were Blessed With One Daughter

Coach Scott Thomas Spahr and his wife, Kim Spahr, welcomed a daughter named Emma Spahr.

According to Emma’s , she resides in Morristown, Indiana, and attended Ball State University.

Standing 5 feet 8 inches and wearing jersey #53, she played the center position for the Morristown High School varsity Girls’ Basketball team.

Throughout her senior season, Emma showcased her shooting ability, ranking 10th in the Mid-Hoosier Conference with 15 three-pointers.

Additionally, from October 2026 to July 31, 2026, she served as a youth development professional at the Boys & Girls Club of Shelbyville.

During , she played basketball as a power forward and small forward. Her club statistics included an average of 7.0 points and 7.5 rebounds per game, with a field goal percentage of 35% and a free throw percentage of 75%.

Recently, Emma took to her Facebook handle and the tragic loss of her father by stating,

i’ll see you on the other side pops💔🪽

She also took to the Facebook story and posted a photo of her father and wrote,

i have no words, all i can say rn is.thank you for everything dad, i love you more than you could ever know, get your rest now, you deserve it, I’ll see you on the other side

  • In 1986, Scott graduated from Celina High School and received his Bachelor of Science degree in Secondary Education from Mayville State College.
  • Scott was a Corporal and combat veteran of the U.S. Army. Serving during the Persian Gulf War and Operation Desert Storm, he fought valiantly as an Air Defense Artilleryman attached to the 24th Mechanized Division. He was a Bronze Star recipient and reenlisted on captured Iraqi soil.
