Brodie King, a 16-year-old Bradley Central High School athlete, passed away due to a car accident on May 24, 2026.
He fought hard to overcome his injuries for five days but tragically left the world, leaving his parents, Chris King and Brandie Price Rominger, behind.
Brodie’s passion for football was evident from an early age.
He honed his skills with the LFMS 7th/8th Grade Bruins before advancing to the Bradley Central JV and Varsity Football teams.
Coaches and teammates remember him as a tenacious, hardworking athlete whose enthusiasm and leadership on the field inspired those around him.
Similarly, his coaches often remarked on his fearless play style and relentless drive, which reflected his commitment to excellence.
Off the field, Brodie balanced athletics with a part-time job, showcasing his maturity and work ethic. Yet his humility and genuine care for others truly defined him.
Friends recall how he uplifted those around him, whether with a quick joke, a helping hand, or a listening ear, making everyone feel valued.
I woke up at 3am with Brodie on my mind, as I was praying God reminded me of the miracles he performed on the 3rd day, the first was his resurrection and walking out of the tomb on that third day.

Brodie King’s Family Mourns The Tragic Loss
Brodie King was a vibrant 16-year-old student-athlete at Bradley Central High School who tragically left the world too soon following a car accident.
His sudden departure has left his family, friends, teammates, and the Cleveland community heartbroken, mourning the loss of a young life brimming with promise, kindness, and unwavering dedication.
Brodie was a beloved son whose radiant spirit and quiet strength touched everyone he encountered.
His parents, Chris King and Brandie Price Rominger, are divorced, but their shared love for Brodie remains a constant in his life, and their grief is immeasurable.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends of Bradley Central Junior, Brodie King. He attended our Middle School Team Football Camp back in 2026. Prayers for his teammates, coaches and family.
The King family will hold a memorial service to celebrate Brodie’s life, during which loved ones will gather to honor his legacy.
