Alixandria Johnson, the wife of Jarvis Jones, proves that you can thrive in both family and career.

Jarvis Jerrell Jones carved out a notable career in professional football before transitioning into coaching at his alma mater.

The former linebacker, born on October 13, 1989, in Columbus, Georgia, established himself as one of the most dominant defensive players in college football history.

Jones attended Carver High School in Columbus, where he led his team to a state championship in 2007 and earned recognition as a four-star recruit.

After initially enrolling at USC, Jones transferred to the University of Georgia following a spinal stenosis diagnosis that prevented him from continuing his career with the Trojans.

At Georgia, he flourished under the defensive system, becoming a consensus All-American twice. During his stellar 2011 season, Jones recorded 70 total tackles, including 19.5 for loss and 13.5 sacks, leading the SEC in quarterback takedowns.

His senior campaign proved even more impressive, as he tallied 85 tackles, 24.5 tackles-for-loss (best in NCAA), and 14.5 sacks while earning AFCA First-team All-American honors and the SEC Defensive Player of the Year award.

The Pittsburgh Steelers selected Jones with the 17th overall pick in the 2013 NFL Draft, signing him to a four-year contract worth $8.705 million.

Though he struggled to meet first-round expectations during his four seasons in Pittsburgh, recording just six career sacks, Jones remained a consistent presence in the lineup.

He briefly joined the Arizona Cardinals in 2017 before retiring from professional football.

Today, Jones serves as the head football coach at Carver High School, returning to lead the program that launched his successful athletic career.

She worked as an Administrative Assistant at EASi from December 2016 to July 2017 in the Greater Phoenix Area, and served as Marketing Director and Skill Development Coach at Power Line Athletics from May 2015 to November 2016 in San Diego County.

These roles provided her with hands-on experience in operations, marketing strategy, and athlete development.

Johnson also gained valuable media industry experience through her internship at ESPN Radio from April to August 2014 in the Greater Phoenix Area, where she worked as a Research Intern.

This experience in sports media likely deepened her understanding of the athletic world that her husband navigated throughout his professional career.

Additionally, she worked as a Marketing Consultant for The Latin Focus and as a Personal Assistant at Harbor Packaging Inc.

Currently identified as a Wine Distributor, Johnson continues to expand her business interests into new sectors.
