Things are heating up as Jordan Hudson competes against Isabelle St. Cyr, a transgender contestant who is aiming for the Miss USA crown.

The head football coach at the University of North Carolina, Bill Belichick’s 24-year-old girlfriend, Jordan Hudson, is now in the spotlight as she competes in a beauty pageant.

Both have made it to the finals, setting the stage for a highly talked-about showdown online.

Hudson and St. Cyr confidently made it through the swimsuit round, showing poise and avoiding mistakes.

Isabelle St. Cyr’s Journey: From Small-Town Struggles To Pageant Stage, With Family Support

The Miss Universe Organization, which runs the Miss Maine USA pageant, has allowed transgender women to compete since 2012.

Isabelle St. Cyr’s entry is a big step forward for pageant inclusion this year.

Her path hasn’t been easy, as she grew up in a small town where she faced bullying and felt left out.

But she stayed strong, turning to cheerleading and dance to express herself.

Now, she wants to be a voice for other transgender people, especially those from rural areas.

Isabelle St. Cyr was born to parents Eric and Lana and grew up with two sisters.

Her family has stood by her throughout her journey, especially during her transition from male to female.

When Isabelle shared photos from a pageant photoshoot, her mom commented with pride, saying she is beautiful inside and out.

The most gorgeous person. Inside and out!

Their support has meant a lot to her as she continues to chase her dreams and represent the transgender community.

After all, she believes it’s essential to show that trans women are living openly and confidently, even in small towns and rural areas.

She’s always dreamed of becoming a mother and taking on a feminine role.

“I think it’s really important to shine a light on trans women living their lives and living them very unapologetically in small towns and rural communities, because we exist everywhere, I always wanted to be a mom. I knew I always wanted to be the feminine role in life.”

In Case You Didn’t Know

  • St. Cyr explained that joining the pageant wasn’t meant to be a political move. She signed up for the competition a year ago, well before Donald Trump began his second presidential run.
  • When she turned 18, St. Cyr gave friends and family her new name and pronouns, then began her medical transition at 20.
  • She now lives in Monson and owns a farm.
