A GoFundMe Has Been Organized To Help His Family

In response to the tragedy, a GoFundMe campaign titled “Supporting the Etter Family in Loving Memory of Calvin” was launched.

It aims to help cover funeral expenses and provide the family with financial breathing room as they begin the difficult process of healing.

The campaign describes Calvin as:

“A proud student at Dana Hills High School and a dedicated member of the varsity football team. He was known for his kind heart, strong spirit, and deep love for his family, friends, and girlfriend. He had a passion for working on cars, driving his truck, and staying active at the gym. Calvin had a close bond with his younger brother Austin, his older sister Shanaye, and his loving mother Honor, who are now left to navigate this unimaginable loss.”

The fundraiser has already raised more than $15,000 of its $22,000 goal, proof of the love and support pouring in from all corners of the community.

The campaign reads,

“Calvin touched many lives with his warmth, loyalty, and love. This is a chance for all who knew and loved him—or who are simply moved by this tragedy—to come together and lift up his family in their time of need.”

Calvin Etter’s name will forever be remembered at Dana Hills, not just on the football field, but in the hearts of those who knew him.

His legacy of kindness, strength, and love will continue to inspire the Dana Point community for years to come.
