A Forest Park High School teacher and boys lacrosse coach, Coy Robert Dubik, has been arrested and charged with multiple felonies after allegedly exposing himself to students during class.

According to the Prince William County Police Department, Coy Robert Dubik, 40, was taken into custody on June 16 following a disturbing incident that occurred on June 4 inside a classroom at Forest Park High School.

Police say Dubik was seated at his desk with students present when he allegedly exposed himself and made inappropriate gestures.

Multiple students reportedly witnessed the act and immediately informed school staff, prompting an internal investigation and a call to law enforcement.

Following the investigation, Dubik was arrested and charged with three counts of indecent liberties by a custodian, a Class 6 felony in Virginia.

The charge typically applies to adults in a supervisory role, such as teachers, who engage in indecent acts with minors under their care.

Police confirmed that Dubik was released on a $15,000 bond. As of now, no court date has been set.

School Responded To The Investigation, Assuring Parents Immediate Action Was Taken

Forest Park High School Principal Richard Martinez sent a letter to families, updating them on the situation and assuring the community that immediate steps had been taken.

In the letter, he said,

“Administrators took immediate action upon learning about the incident. Families of students known to be affected were contacted directly, and school counseling services were made available to support them.”

Dubik has been placed on administrative leave and has not returned to the school since the allegations were made public.

Prince William County Public Schools also released an official statement, reinforcing their cooperation with the police and their commitment to student safety:

“We recognize how concerning this news may be. Please know that this incident does not reflect the values, professionalism, or dedication of the staff at Forest Park High School. The safety and well-being of our students remain our highest priority.”

The news has sent shockwaves through the Woodbridge and Montclair communities, where Dubik served not only as a teacher but also as the head coach of the boys lacrosse team.

His subject of instruction at the school has not been disclosed.

Police are urging anyone with further information about the case to come forward and contact the department directly.

As the investigation continues, both the school and law enforcement emphasize that this remains an active case, and additional updates will be provided as new information becomes available.
