Christopher Scott Reinhard tragically died on Friday at his home in Creedmoor, North Carolina.
Reinhard was born on June 28, 1971, to Nancy Reinhard and the late Richard Reinhard.
He had a love for baseball, not only his sons but many of the youth in Creedmoor and the surrounding areas.
His enthusiasm and love for his players made him a true inspiration.
Christopher stayed away from social media, so little information about his personal life is known.
Former Coach Christopher Scott Reinhard Passed Away At 53
Christopher Scott Reinhard took his last breath on Friday, May 23, 2026, at his home in Creedmoor, North Carolina. The cause of death has not been revealed.
Anthony Martin, health, safety & environment HSE Professional at D Construction, took to his Facebook and mourned the loss of Christopher. He wrote,
Chris you will be missed. I will honor the promised we talked about a month ago. I will always be there for your family. I am so grateful for how well you treated my son since we met you back when he was 9. You always thought of him in baseball and were a good mentor. It’s sad to see you leave this earth but god needed you up stairs. I know you will continue to watch over all your boys and family. Until we meet again buddy.
Owner and operator at Journigan’s Agronomy, Shawn Journigan, also took to his Facebook handle and offered his heartfelt condolences by stating,
Man you will be missed and especially running into you at the baseball feild!! Rest easy buddy
East Carolina University graduate, Virginia Celeste, her heartfelt condolences and sent prayers to Christopher’s family. She wrote,
My deepest condolences to Jennifer and the boys. He was one of Landon’s biggest fans and he will surely be missed by many. Cancer sucks! Tell your loved ones that you love them because tomorrow is never promised!
Other close ones and relatives have also poured their heartfelt condolences and sent prayers to Christopher’s family to stay strong in this challenging time.
As per Chris’s family, a celebration of his life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 31, 2026, at Lancaster’s Franklinton Chapel, 504 E. Mason St., Franklinton, NC 27525.
The family will receive friends and share memories following the service. Rest in Peace, Christopher Scott Reinhard.

Jennifer recently posted a picture of Christopher as a tribute on her Facebook page. In the comment section, social media users expressed their prayers for Jennifer and her children. One person wrote,

Jennifer was born to her father, Francis Xavier Collins Jr., and Lois A. Collins.
Francis, MD, where he graduated from Wheaton High School, served in the U.S. Army, and worked for over 40 years for the U.S. Postal Service.
Tragically, Jennifer lost her father, Francis, on Saturday, June 11, 2026, in Columbia, MD.
