A former college baseball player and star of Love Island USA Season 6, Kenny Rodriguez, has parents of Dominican descent, with Catholic Faith.
Before gaining fame on Love Island USA Season 6, Kenny was an athlete and a fitness enthusiast.
During his collage years (2013-2019) at Macalester College in St. Paul, Minnesota, Kenny played Baseball.

Born in New York City, Kenny is a second-generation American whose life has been deeply shaped by the sacrifices of his parents and grandparents.
Kenny’s grandparents immigrated to the United States from the Dominican Republic in the late 1960s, arriving as teenagers in search of a better future.
They spent most of their adult lives working in factories, enduring long hours and physical labor, which later provided educational opportunities for Kenny’s parents.
Rodriguez’s parents were raised in New York City, whereas Kenny’s grandparents were not afforded the same opportunity.
While their names are not publicly shared, Kenny frequently honors them, crediting their support and love for shaping the man he is today.
Together, his parents cultivated a home built on Dominican values, Catholic faith, and an unwavering belief in the power of community.
Moreover, Kenny expresses pride and gratitude for his Bronx roots. In an interview with about Love Island, he spoke warmly about his parents and family, saying;
Growing up in the Bronx, my parents were both very hardworking individuals. Everyone in my family,I think I have like 12 family members, lived within a two-block radius. I have fond memories of being at my grandma’s house, where the door was always open. People would just come in and out, music playing very loud, and people always talking.
While details about his family and parents remain private, Kenny Rodriguez’s breakup with JaNa Craig has sparked significant media attention.
As of now, the exact reason for their split has not been officially confirmed, but it is noted that JaNa Craig was the one who ended the relationship with Kenny.
Interestingly, Kenny still has photos of the two together on his Instagram, while JaNa has not only removed their pictures but also unfollowed him on social media.
