He was a respected basketball coach at Lansing Everett High School, known for his contributions to both the boys’ and girls’ basketball programs.

He led the Everett girls’ basketball team to back-to-back state championships in 2000 and 2001.

Later, he guided the boys’ basketball team to a state championship in 2004. After 32 years of coaching, he retired in 2012.

Tragically,, April 28, 2026, at the age of 75. However, the exact cause of his passing has not been publicly disclosed.
