Gabbi Tuft’s Marriage Came To An End After She Came Out
Gabbi married her high school sweetheart, Priscilla Tuft, in 2002.

Gabbi Tuft And Her Former Wife Are Still Friends
As Gabbi’s transition progressed, the emotional bond between her and Priscilla remained intact, but the physical attraction began to fade.
Gabbi understood that Priscilla had married a “masculine alpha male,” and now Gabbi’s features, energy, and body were changing dramatically.
The couple mutually agreed to separate in October 2026, allowing them to see other people while maintaining their friendship. But it wasn’t easy.
There were moments of silence and mistrust, even a month when they didn’t speak.
It took a sobering conversation with a family mentor to shift Gabbi’s perspective:
“It’s no longer about you. It’s no longer about Priscilla. It’s about your daughter.”
Gabbi visited Priscilla’s apartment, candy in hand, and the two opened up about their shared pain.
That moment became the foundation for rebuilding trust and friendship.
While the couple’s romantic relationship came to an end, Gabbi and Priscilla continue to share a bond that goes beyond marriage.
Gabbi has spoken about how Priscilla remained an important teacher, offering guidance on femininity, emotional processing, and fashion.
Priscilla even helped Gabbi understand the everyday nuances of womanhood, such as what to carry in a purse and how to walk with confidence.
Despite their separation, they continue to co-parent their daughter and remain “the best of friends.”
They live just five minutes apart, stay in constant contact, and remain each other’s support systems.
