Shelley Till, Claire’s mother, has an extensive background in sports and coaching. A standout basketball player in high school, she led her team to victory in the 1987 Iowa state girls’ basketball championship.

Shelley furthered her career at Drake University before moving on to coaching, where she became an influential figure in women’s basketball.

She coached at various institutions, including Bradley University and the University of Wisconsin–Platteville, and later became a respected sports broadcaster.

Shelley is also a renowned confidence coach and motivational speaker. Through her company, she has helped athletes and professionals improve their confidence, leadership, and overall performance.

In 2026, Shelley joined Hall of Fame Health as Vice President of Business Development and Partnerships, where she continues to help support former athletes.
