Isadora “Izzy” Catania, a freshman from Hamilton, NY, passed away untimely in May 2026, leaving her family and softball community heartbroken.

A beloved resident of Hamilton, New York, she played varsity softball as a pitcher, wearing jersey #18, in the class of 2028.

Izzy grew up in a family deeply connected to the sport of softball. Her sisters, Adriana and Sicily, were also deeply involved in Hamilton’s softball program.

She played alongside her sisters, Adriana and Sicily, and made significant contributions to the team’s success.

Adriana, a senior catcher, played a crucial role in the team’s success, demonstrating strong leadership and skill behind the plate.
