On May 16, 2026, at the age of 33, Nick Vetell tragically passed away in a vehicle accident, leaving behind a legacy of love and impact on many lives.
Dominick Vetell was born on June 28, 1992, in North Carolina and was the beloved son of Nick Vetell and his parents, Joseph (Joe) and Connie Bennett Vetell, as the youngest child.

His death has left his family, friends, and community heartbroken, but his memory lives on through the lives he touched.
Nick was born into a close-knit family in North Carolina, where his parents, Joe and Connie, created a nurturing home for their three children.
Joe, originally from Washington, Pennsylvania, is a passionate motorcyclist who loves cruising on his Harley-Davidson with Connie by his side.
Hailing from Raeford, North Carolina, Connie brought warmth and faith to the family, raising Nick, Joey, and Connie Jo with a strong Christian foundation.
Now in her sixties, Connie’s love for her children was apparent in every moment they shared.
The Vetell household was one of laughter, support, and shared values.
Joe and Connie established the importance of hard work, kindness, and faith in their children.
Nick represented these principles well. He became a man who excelled in his career while also dedicating himself to his family and community.
Nick’s life Was Defined By His Roles As A Son, Husband, Father, And Brother
and together they welcomed their beautiful 2-year-old daughter, Emersyn.
Nick was a hands-on dad, fiercely protective and endlessly loving.
He cherished every moment with Emersyn, whether it was playing with her, teaching her something new, or simply being her biggest cheerleader.
His devotion to his family expanded to his parents, Nick Vetell’s parents, Joe and Connie, his siblings Joey and Connie Jo, his niece Analeigh, and his nephews Cade and Jax.
The loss of Nick has left an unfilled void in his family’s hearts.
Connie, his mother, shared an emotional tribute on social media, writing,
“Even though my heart is shattered! I know that he can never come back to me, but one day I will go and be with him, I will stand by his side as we look at our Lord and Savior, face-to-face, and stand in his holiness❤️”

A talented wrestler at from 2010 to 2015, he directed his passion for athletics into a career in strength and conditioning.
After earning his bachelor’s degree, Nick began working as an intern at Fort Bragg, where he worked with military personnel.
He then spent eight impactful years at the , first as an intern and later as an Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach for wrestling, swimming, and men’s tennis.
His dedication to athletes was unmatched. He returned to Fort Bragg to work with Special Operations forces, shaping elite performers with his expertise and encouragement.
Nick’s influence went beyond physical training.
He was an unforgettable mentor and friend who uplifted others with his energy and corny jokes.
The Love And Condolences From Nick’s friends Show What A Great Person He Was
Ronnie House, a former coach, wrote,
“I remember when he was just a little guy that beat my wrestlers regularly, he made them and me better. Then I had the pleasure of coaching him in high school and learned just how special he was. I will cherish the time I got to spend with you and I will see you again. All my Love, Coach Ronnie House.”
ViaSharon Shives, a member of the wrestling community, shared,
“Best memories were of wrestling with Nick. He was a funny, but serious athlete and he was a great wrestler. We enjoyed being with our wrestling family, which included the Vetell’s. They are wonderful family. We are praying for your family and are so sorry for your loss.”

These tributes show that he was a talented athlete and coach. He was also a kind person with strong faith.
He had a special ability to connect with others and left a lasting impression on everyone he met.

Nick is survived by his parents, Joseph and Connie Vetell; his brother, Joey; his sister, Connie Jo; his wife, Meredith; his daughter, Emersyn; his niece, Analeigh; and his nephews, Cade and Jax.
