Felix dreamed big, but his journey ended too soon at 15.

Félix Nadeau, a talented young ice hockey player, tragically lost his life after being struck by a vehicle.

He was a right-wing member of Le Zénith M18, part of the Programme de Développement Hockey École Zénith at École secondaire de Saint-Marc.

Tragically, he passed away at just 15 years old while jogging along Route 138 in Donnacona, Quebec.

He was struck by a vehicle that had veered off its lane onto the shoulder. His death was confirmed at the scene of the accident.

Emergency responders arrived quickly, but despite their efforts, he succumbed to his injuries on-site. The driver was arrested for impaired driving, causing death.

Right Wing Forward Felix Nadeau Was Known For His Skill And Determination In The Game!

Félix Nadeau was known for his dedication and strong work ethic. His coaches and teammates admired his relentless work ethic and determination.

His former coach, Hugo Clermont, fondly recalls mentoring Félix in his early years, admiring his relentless effort and determination.

In an interview with Radio-Canada, Clermont shared:

As a coach, your players become like family—they remain a part of you for life. We were a close-knit team, and it’s essential that we honor his memory.

Early in his career, he set his sights on earning the Player of the Match title. His passion for hockey extended beyond the rink.

He was also a respected member of the Mustang Soccer Club, where his leadership and enthusiasm made a lasting impact.

Félix was scheduled to play against St. Patrick’s High School at Centre de glaces Intact Assurance, but tragically, his life was cut short before the match.

His passing deeply affected his community, with tributes pouring in from his hockey team and the soccer club he played for.

He was remembered as an exemplary teammate and athlete, admired by both his peers and coaches.

His team held a moment of silence in his honor before their scheduled match.

The to Félix, saying:

Yesterday we lost much more than an athlete: we lost a friend, a role model, a ray of sunshine to everyone around him. The tragic departure of this young man leaves us all speechless and heartbroken. The Mustang Club would like to extend our deepest condolences to his family, friends and all who loved him. We share your pain, and will forever hold the memory of his passion, smile and incredible energy. Felix, you will always be in our hearts. Thank you for all that you have been.

Our heartfelt condolences go out to Félix Nadeau’s family, friends, and well-wishers.
