The town of New Durham, New Hampshire, is mourning the tragic and untimely loss of Logan McEvoy, a young man whose spirit and deep connections left a mark on everyone who knew him.

Logan passed away in a devastating car accident, and the news has sent shockwaves through his community, school, and loved ones.

Logan McEvoy Used To Play Ice Hockey In High School

Logan McEvoy was a proud graduate of Kingswood Regional High School, where he wore jersey number 11 as a member of the boys’ varsity ice hockey team from 2016 to 2026.

Known for his tenacity on the ice and his heart off it, Logan was admired for his athletic skill and his positivity and warm personality.

After graduating, Logan began working at Burke’s Tree Service in May 2026, where he continued to earn the respect of his peers through his dedication and strong work ethic.

He Is Survived By His Parents, Siblings, And Daughter

Logan McEvoy’s life was deeply rooted in family. He is survived by his mother Steph, father Greg, sister Kayla, and brothers Devin and Dillon.

However, perhaps his most cherished role was that of father to his young daughter Lydia, the light of his life and the legacy he leaves behind.

His mother, Steph McEvoy, shared a heartbreaking message in the wake of his passing:

“My heart is broken in a million pieces. Logan was so much to me. I have no words. Sorry to everyone that’s reached out to me, I just can’t respond to everyone. He was so loved by so many. I appreciate you and love you all. My house is open to anyone that wants to come by and share their love for Logan. Message me for the address if you don’t have it. Love you, Logie Mac.”

Another family member asked for prayers and support:

“Please say a prayer for our family, especially Logan’s mom, Steph, and her best friend Jose, dad Greg, sister Kayla, and brothers Devin and Dillon, and most of all his daughter Lydia. We are all mourning this horrific loss and will miss Logan deeply! RIP Logan Mac!”

Friends And Community Remembering The Beloved Soul

Logan’s impact extended well beyond his immediate family.

Friends remember him as someone who always brought laughter and warmth into the room, fiercely loyal, and left a lasting impression on everyone he met.

One friend reflected:

“Logan, it’s never gonna be real. It still doesn’t feel real — feels like a bad dream. We love you, buddy, and you will be missed by so many. Don’t worry, you will live on through each of your siblings and that little sweet girl. We love you and will forever. Rest easy and say hello to my dad. I hope he was there with open arms to show you the way.❤️”

The Kingswood High School and the greater Wolfeboro community have rallied to support the McEvoy family during this painful time.

Whether through shared memories, quiet prayers, or heartfelt tributes, Logan’s community is determined to keep his memory alive.

Though his time was short, Logan McEvoy’s legacy is profound.

He brought love, laughter, and meaning to many lives, from the hockey rink to the tree service yard and childhood friendships to fatherhood.

As the community grieves, it also celebrates a young man’s life who loved deeply, worked hard, and lived fully.

Logan’s memory will live on in the hearts of his family, in the smile of his daughter Lydia, and in every story shared by those lucky enough to know him.

Rest in peace, Logan!
