- His store was known for rarely selling out of the latest CD, cassette, eight-track, or vinyl record on its release day, for Armstrong’s inside information about upcoming concerts, and for being one of the first stores to allow customers to listen to music before purchasing it.
- Richard loved to make people happy and enjoyed singing to his fur babies. He always smiled except when his Philadelphia Eagles lost the match.
