Former basketball player Michael Jordan’s wife, Yvette Prieto’s mother, Maria, owned Pacificare Case Management, Inc.
Basketball legend Michael Jordan is taking his skills to television.
NBC Sports officially announced that Michael will contribute to its programming when the upcoming NBA season starts in October 2026.
In a released by NBC, Jordan said,
“I am so excited to see the NBA back on NBC,” “The NBA on NBC was a meaningful part of my career, and I’m excited about being a special contributor to the project. I’m looking forward to seeing you all when the NBA on NBC launches this October.”
When Jordan turned to commentate, fans expressed surprise and excitement on social media. Since leaving the NBA, Jordan has lived a private life.
However, his name is still discussed in sports entertainment, especially regarding the debate of the NBA’s greatest of all time (GOAT). One Twitter user wrote,

Jordan spent 15 seasons in the NBA, winning six championships with the Chicago Bulls.

In the 90s, it broadcast some of the most significant moments in basketball, such as the 1992 Olympics “Dream Team,” Jordan’s championships, and his return to basketball after he took a break to play professional baseball.
In July, NBC Universal announced it had struck a deal with the NBA to broadcast NBA and WNBA games for the next 11 years.
The “Roundball Rock” theme song of the ’90s show will return. Other commentators include NBA veterans Jamal Crawford, Carmelo Anthony, and Reggie Miller.

Michael Jordan’s wife, Yvette Prieto, 48, born on March 26, 1978, was raised by her Cuban parents, Maria and Carlos Manuel Prieto.
Shortly after her birth, she with her parents and received an American citizenship.
Her parents owned a company named Pacificare Case Management, Inc.
Following Yvette’s graduation, she also worked with her parents at the company. However, she left the company to start her modeling career.
As per the source, Yvette’sof illegally collecting over $400,000 in payments in an insurance fraud scheme.
The money was transferred to the company owned by Yvette’s mother, Maria.
Yvette’s parents were convicted in 2005 and served 18 months in prison over the ordeal.
Her parents have avoided the media spotlight, so little is known about their lives.
