Recently, the New York Giants selected him with the 25th overall pick in the first round of the 2026 Draft.

The Giants traded up with the Houston Texans to secure the pick, sending their second-round (No. 34), third-round (No. 99), and a 2026 third-round selection in exchange.

Dart was the second quarterback in the draft, following Cam Ward, who went first to the Tennessee Titans.

He won’t start immediately, and Russell Wilson is expected to be the starter, but the Giants see Dart as their future quarterback.

Standing 6’1″, Diesel has shown strong defensive skills, recording 44 tackles and one interception.

Recently, Diesel Dart received a scholarship offer from BYU Football. He announced the offer on April 16, 2026, on social media.

His high school coach believes and said:

I’m biased. But this dude is going to explode this summer. P4 guys you better start building a relationship.

A class of 2027 prospect, he is expected to gain more attention in the coming years as his recruiting profile grows.
