NBA player Alex Caruso and former Big Brother contestant Haleigh Broucher announced their engagement on August 30, 2026.
Now that Oklahoma City Thunder guard Alex Caruso celebrated after his team scored against the Washington Wizards at Paycom Center, once Haleigh also took X (formerly Twitter), to post beachside photos from the proposal.
She and Alex also posted engagement photos on Instagram, writing together, “Forever kind of love.”
A proposal video was included too, with Haleigh captioning it, “Yes in every lifetime.”
Even LeBron James called to celebrate, commenting, “CONGRATULATIONS MY BROTHER!!!!!!!”
While the exact details of when their relationship started are private, the couple went public in September 2026 by making it Instagram official.
Haleigh is pursuing her PhD, and many people know her from season 20 of Big Brother in 2018, where she finished in the 7th place.
Haleigh Broucher Has Shared Some Details About Her Family, But Keeps Much Private
She shared during an interview that she was adopted back when she was in sixth grade.
But she’s close to her mom, Lindsey Broucher. They and even look a lot alike.
Even when she won Head of Household on Big Brother, her mom wrote to her to congratulate her on the achievement.

Lindsey expressed how much she missed Haleigh and shared that the entire family was doing well and was very supportive of her.
Folks knew she was adopted, but they were surprised because she and her mom looked so similar, almost like twins.
I remember hearing and being surprised cause they are twin mom and daughter so it confused me. But who knows. Doesn’t matter either way really. she is close to her mom and they look so similar so that makes more sense🤷🏻♀️ just was something I recalled from the live feeds of her telling it as a secret but it could be totally misheard or incorrect. Happy for her either way they seem very in love and good together.
In 2019, Haleigh described her mom as a picture of beauty and love, saying she had never met a woman as beautiful.
