NBA player Luguentz Dort had long kept his personal life out of the public eye until the heartfelt Instagram post on February 15, 2026, announcing his girlfriend Melina’s pregnancy.

Previously, Dort was tight-lipped about his relationship status, leaving fans and media speculating about his romantic life.

However, out of nowhere, the NBA player dropped a bombshell that none of his fans could’ve imagined even in their wildest dreams.

On February 15, 2026, Dort and Melina shared their joy with the world, posting intimate photos to announce they are expecting their first child via an Instagram joint post.

In the caption, the couple wrote, “💙♾️,” which most probably means they are going to have a baby boy, given the color of the heart emoji.

The images, showing Dort caressing Melina’s beautiful baby bump, were met with an avalanche of comments and wishes from his fans and friends.

Several big names, including OKC forward Jaylin Williams and Bennedict Mathurin, congratulated him on the new chapter of parenthood.

The Oklahoma City Thunder content creator, DJ Lyfe, welcomed him to the team dad, writing:

Fans and teammates flooded the comments with congratulations, with messages like “Future Dorture Chamber in the making!” and “So happy for you both!”

The announcement was significant, as Dort and Melina typically keep their personal lives private.
