Charles K. Mackrey has been booked into the Palm Beach County Jail in Florida on a serious charge involving a sexual offense.
According to Charles K. Mackrey’s profile, he attended Cheltenham High School from 1987 to 1991, where he played basketball and baseball.
Later, he received his bachelor’s degree in telecommunications from Kutztown University of Pennsylvania in 1996. He also played basketball for Kutztown University’s men’s basketball team.

Charles served as the teacher and head girls’ basketball coach at Park Vista High School from October 2005 to June 2018.
He was also a full-time teacher and head boys’ basketball coach at Olympic Heights High School for 6 years and 3 months.
Since January 2004, Mackrey has served as the co-owner and coach at S.M.A.C.K. LLC in West Palm Beach, Florida, United States.
Coach Charles K. Mackrey Has Been Jailed On A Serious Charge Involving A Sexual Offense
On Tuesday, June 24, 2026, former head girls’ basketball coach at Park Vista High School, Charles K. Mackrey, was booked into the Palm Beach County Jail for charges of sexual offense at 4:59 P.M.
As per the, Mackrey was charged under Florida Statute 800.101 (2) (b) for “Sex Offense-Authority Figure Soliciting or Engaging in Romantic Relationship with a Student.”
The booking number for his arrest is 2025016651, and the OBTS (Offender-Based Tracking System) number is 5003515524.
The charges suggest that Charles is accused of attempting to initiate or engage in a romantic and sexual relationship with a student.
Under Florida law, this statute is designed to protect students from exploitation by educators or others in positions of influence within educational settings.
As of now, the case of Charles K. Mackrey remains open and under legal review by Palm Beach County Authorities.
