American former professional football wide receiver Antonio Brown’s father, Eddie, is a former arena football offensive specialist who played for the Albany/Indiana Firebirds.
Antonio Brown, 37, was detained by police early Saturday following an altercation in which gunshots were fired outside a celebrity boxing event in Miami.
Police officers to the area at about 3 a.m. after receiving an alert from the gunshot-detection system ShotSpotter.
The video posted on social media showed Brown in a fight with several people at the boxing event, which popular streamer Adin Ross hosted.
Brown was seen holding a black pistol as he pursued someone. Shots could be heard off camera shortly thereafter.
The video also captured Brown with his hands behind his back as he was led out of the venue by police officers.
Brown posted on social media that he had been by multiple individuals who tried to steal his jewelry and caused him physical harm. He added,
“Police temporarily detained me until they received my side of the story and then released me. I WENT HOME THAT NIGHT AND WAS NOT ARRESTED,”
He also announced that he would consult with his legal counsel and attorneys about pressing charges against the individuals who jumped him.

Born on July 10, 1988, Antonio Brown’s parents, “Touchdown” Eddie Brown and Adrianne Moss, when Antonio was 10.
Following a divorce, Eddie left to play football for Louisiana Tech while Adrianne stayed behind with her son.
When Brown turned 16, his mother, Adrianne, married Larry Moss. He had a bad relationship with his stepfather and was asked to leave the house.

His mother, Adrianne, is the at the U.S. Department of the Interior. She pursued her bachelor’s degree from Northwestern University in 1983.
