Andrew Farias, a talented football player for the San Marcos Rattlers in Texas, tragically lost his life in a shooting incident at a graduation party on May 26, 2026.

The graduation party was reportedly organized by graduating seniors from San Marcos when an unidentified individual discharged a firearm.

While the circumstances surrounding the incident are still under investigation, reports indicate that he was shot in a sudden and shocking turn of events.

He was known for his agility, speed, and leadership on the field and earned recognition for his contributions to the team.

Andrew Farias Was A Football Player And Student At San Marcos High School!

Andrew Farias was born and raised in San Marcos, Texas, where he developed a deep passion for football from a young age.

He excelled in local youth leagues and earned a spot on the San Marcos High School Rattler football team.

Standing 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighing 150 pounds, he played as a cornerback and a running back as a senior football player at San Marcos High School in Texas.

Wearing the #13 jersey, he contributed to his team’s success with his agility, defensive skills, and ability to make impactful plays.

In his sophomore year, 2026, the San Marcos Rattlers finished with a 4-7 overall record and placed 4th in the district with a 2-3 district record.

The team was ranked #371 in the state, and Andrew’s contributions were vital in shaping the team’s performance.

During his season, and 2 total tackles, averaging 2.0 tackles per game.

He participated in 1 game (GP: 1), showcasing his defensive contributions on the field.

His performances earned him All-District honors and recognition in regional competitions.
