Chris Kyle, a United States Navy SEAL, sniper, and former high school football star, passed away on February 2, 2013, at the untimely age of 38, leaving his family and loved ones devastated.

The renowned military sniper Chris Kyle and his friend, Chad Littlefield, 35, were shot and killed by Eddie Ray Routh at the Rough Creek Ranch lodge resort shooting range in Erath County, Texas.

Despite the untimely and tragic death of Chris Kyle, his family, including his longtime wife, Taya; parents, Wayne Kenneth Kyle and Deborah Lynn; and his brother, Jeff, and sister-in-law, Amy Kyle, continue to protect his legacy.

His brother, Jeff, and sister-in-law, Amy Kyle, devoted their time, money, and effort to continuing to help others and pay tribute to the late Chris Kyle.

Jeff and Amy Kyle are active in various Veterans organizations, hoping to give back to those in need.

Furthermore, the couple actively runs the American Valor Foundation, established in memory of the late Chris Kyle. The foundation raises money for active military personnel, veterans, and first responders.

While Chris Kyle’s brother, Jeff, serves as the foundation’s president, his sister-in-law sits on the board.

Chris Kyle’s Brother, Jeff, And His Sister-In-law, Amy Kyle, First Met At Texas A&M

Jeff and Amy Kyle first met at Texas A&M. The couple worked at a physical therapy clinic together in College Station while Amy was pursuing her bachelor’s degree.

While Amy Kyle was pursuing her bachelor’s degree at Texas A&M, her husband, Jeff, was in the military.

In an interview, Amy Kyle, Chris Kyle’s sister-in-law, mentioned that when she first met her husband, Jeff, they were both dating other people, but their friendship soon blossomed into a relationship.

About five or six months into their relationship, Jeff was activated in the reserves and had to deploy. Before he left, he asked Amy to marry him, and the couple got engaged.

Similarly, after seven months, Jeff and Amy tied the knot on November 3, 2007, and have been happily married for almost two decades.

Jeff and Amy Kyle are also proud parents of two beautiful daughters, Brintley and Leighton, both amazing athletes.

Their eldest daughter, Brintley, is an exceptional gymnast who has been involved in gymnastics since the age of five, whereas their youngest daughter, Leighton, excels in dance.

Amy Kyle also had a beautiful relationship with her late brother-in-law, Chris Kyle. One of Jeff and Amy Kyle’s last memories of their brother was him holding their youngest daughter, Leighton, in his arms.

Leighton was born just six days before Chris’ demise.

While Jeff Kyle followed in his late brother Chris Kyle’s footsteps and joined the Marine Corps in 2000, serving his position until 2008, his wife, , is pursuing her career in the medical field.

Amy earned her master’s and doctorate degrees in 2010 from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. She has worked as a physical therapist for over a decade.

Amy currently works as a physical therapist in an orthopedic outpatient clinic, Baylor Scott and White Outpatient Rehabilitation in Hewitt, and as a clinical instructor.
