Lance Neiman, a respected figure of the Valley Elite Fastpitch (VEF) organization in Fort Worth, Texas, passed away in June 2026.

The softball community is heartbroken over the sudden passing of Lance Neiman, a devoted father, coach, and pillar of the Valley Elite Fastpitch (VEF) organization.

A devoted father and coach, Lance Neiman, is survived by his young daughters, Koral, Khloe, and Korbyn, as well as two adult children. However, details of his two adult children and their mother remain unknown.

shared his three girls with Lacie Nieman; however, it remains unknown if they were together at the time of his demise.

Reportedly, his girls are active in the community, participating in softball, the band, and Stomp.

Their eldest daughter, Koral, earned an appreciation award for serving in the New Smyrna Beach Middle School Band and Choir for the last three years.

Whereas, their second daughter, Khloe, plays as a Relief Pitcher (RP) and second baseman (2B) in USSSA Celement.

She was battling meningitis; however, she immediately played in an overnight tournament in Ocala. This speaks volumes about her commitment to softball.

Their youngest daughter, Korbyn, was born on May 14, 2014. On her 11th birthday, Lacie took to her Facebook to wish her, writing:

A BIG Happy 11th Birthday to my youngest and tiniest bird Korbyn! 1lb 5oz, 12 inches long…. beat all of the odds and has the biggest heart I know 🩷

He volunteered his time, drove his daughters to tournaments across the state, and served on the organization’s board.

Lacie has been nothing but grateful to Lance for being the best dad. In a post she wrote:

A big thank you to Lance Riley for dedicating all of his extra time for lessons/ tournaments/ support. The girls could not ask for a better dad.

To support Lance’s family during this difficult time, Brittny Olsen has created a campaign to help with memorial costs and care for his daughters.

The community is coming together, donating, sharing memories, and offering prayers to show the Riley and Neiman family they are not alone.

Over $3,000 has been raised so far, bringing the total close to the $5,000 goal.

Lance’s unexpected death has left a deep void. He cheered for every success, no matter how small, and lifted players after tough moments.

To the girls he coached, including his own daughters, Lance was a role model who showed what it means to care deeply and work hard.

As a founding member of VEF, Lance helped build a community where players felt supported and valued.

Now that he isn’t anymore, it feels surreal and difficult to process. During this ordeal, we offer our condolences to Lance Riley’s children, friends, and family.

Rest In Heavenly Peace, Lance Neiman!
