The 6-foot-1 sophomore varsity volleyball player for the South Western Pirates, Kylie Intfen, from Fort Worth, Texas, took her last breath on June 26, 2026.
Unfortunately, thus far, the precise details surrounding the cause of Kylie Intfen’s sudden demise remain unknown as her family is grieving in private.
Kylie Intfen is survived by her parents, Eric and Crystal McCullough Intfen, brother Will Intfen, and many loved ones.
A sophomore middle blocker, Kylie Intfen, had a promising volleyball career at Southwestern University, where she played for the Southwestern Pirates from 2026 to 2026.
At Southwestern, Kylie appeared in 13 sets across 11 matches over two seasons, recording 3 kills, 1 ace, 1 dig, and 2 total blocks. He contributed to the team’s efforts, including a notable sweep against Concordia in October 2026.
During her time at Brewer High School, Kylie was a versatile player, serving as both an outside hitter and a right-side hitter. She earned an Honorable Mention All-District award in 2026, All-State Academic honors, and a varsity letter.
She was also recognized for her academic excellence, ranking in the top 10% of her class and participating in the National Honor Society and Hope Squad.
Kylie balanced academics and athletics with distinction at Southwestern University, majoring in history with a minor in Political Science.
Tragically, Southwestern University mourned her loss, marking the end of a career filled with potential and dedication both on and off the court.

Kylie was more than a talented volleyball player – she was a loyal friend, a loved teammate, and a cherished daughter. Her passion, kindness, and radiant spirit lit up every room she stepped into!
Our thoughts and prayers go out to her teammates, coaches, friends, family & to all who knew her during this difficult time.
So far, neither of his parents has broken their silence surrounding the tragic demise of their beloved daughter.
Kylie Intfen’s father, , is a seasoned medical sales professional with over two decades of experience driving growth in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry.
He currently serves as an Account Manager in Hematology at BeOne Medicines, continuing a specialized focus he has honed through roles at Adaptive Biotechnologies, TG Therapeutics, Celgene, and more.
Eric’s career began in tech sales but swiftly transitioned into pharmaceuticals, where he spent 12 impactful years at Novartis launching antihypertensive therapies.
A former football co-captain at Benedictine College, Eric blends strategic leadership with a team-oriented mindset, making him a standout force in hematology sales.
Whereas her mother, Crystal, is an instructional Coach at White Settlement ISD.
Kylie Intfen’s brother, , a Texas Tech alum, played baseball and football at Brewer High School.
Meanwhile, details surrounding Kylie Intfen’s funeral services have yet to be published by the family.
