Bridgette Wilson, an American former actress, singer, model, and wife of renowned tennis player Pete Sampras, speaks highly of her parents, describing them as her constant supporters.
The 1990 Miss Teen USA, Bridgette Wilson, was born on September 25, 1973, in Gold Beach, Oregon, USA, as the youngest daughter of parents Dale and Kathy Wilson.
Bridgette Wilson, who was an athlete from a very young age, grew up playing, fishing, and chopping wood with her father, Dale Wilson, with the local power company in Gold Beach, Oregon.
She played basketball, volleyball, and ran track at Gold Beach High School; however, Bridgette ended her athletic journey to pursue a career in acting. Through all her decisions and plans, her parents, Dale and Kathy, stood by her side.
While very little information about Dale and Kathy Wilson’s personal and professional lives is available as they prefer to maintain a low profile, Bridgette Wilson often talks about her parents and appreciates them for teaching her things, which she now instills in her children.
In an interview with ModernMom, Bridgette Wilson, a mother of two sons, Christian and Ryan, stated that her parents taught her the gift of giving love as well as the gift of receiving it, which shaped her own parenting journey.
“My parents taught me the gift of giving love, as well as the gift of receiving it. I’m a “giver” by nature but it took time for me to learn how to accept those gifts of love given to me. I learned by watching my parents be great at both.”
Similarly, when asked about whom she admires the most, Bridgette Wilson didn’t think twice to say her parents and grandparents, who taught her unconditional love and gave it to her.
Bridgette said,
“The strong foundation I have from these key figures in my life is why I am who I am today. I admire their willingness to put family first and do it with love, love, and move love!”
Furthermore, Kathy and Dale Wilson raised both of their daughter, Bridgette Wilson and Taylor Wilson-Soriano, to be successful in their respective careers.
Like Bridgette Wilson, her elder sister, , is also a former actress known for her roles in the TV series Team Knight Rider (1997) and The Practice (1997). Taylor as a real estate agent at John L. Scott Real Estate.

Bridgette Wilson’s mother, Kathy Wilson, born to the late parents MaryAnn Wilson and Larry Wilson, is a native of Coquille, Oregon.
Furthermore, Kathy’s mother (Bridgette Wilson’s maternal grandmother), MaryAnn Wilson passed away on August 16, 2014, at the age of 80 at her home in Coquille, Oregon.
Bridgette’s , MaryAnn and Larry Wilson, whom she admired the most, were high school sweethearts and were happily married for over six decades, raising her mother, Kathy, and her uncles, late Dean Wilson, Jeff Wilson, and late Dan G. Wilson to be successful in their respective fields.
While not much is known about Bridgette’s mother, Kathy, and her maternal grandfather, Larry, her late grandmother, MaryAnn, had a strong faith in Christianity and was an active member of the Episcopal Church, where she served as senior warden.
She also managed the Sears store in Coquille and worked in Coos Bay as the head escrow officer for Ticor Title. She was elected Coos County clerk in 1977, a position she held until 1998.
