Tareem Warren, Former TPS Coach and Devoted Family Man, Arrested On Felony Counts

A former basketball coach with Toledo Public Schools, Tareem Warren, is now facing several serious charges related to alleged sexual crimes involving a minor.

According, Tareem Warren has been charged with five counts of criminal sexual conduct, three of which are classified as felonies.

Court records indicate that the alleged incidents involved a juvenile between the ages of 13 and 15 and occurred in Ida Township between December 2026 and March 2026.

Warren is currently being held at the Monroe County Jail as the legal process moves forward.

Similarly, Toledo Public Schools confirmed Warren’s employment during the time of the alleged offenses.

A district spokesperson stated that Warren coached high school basketball at both Start and Woodward High Schools from November 2026 to March 2026.

There is no evidence at this time suggesting the victim had any direct connection to the basketball teams Warren coached.
