The Dr. Henry A. Wise High School Athletics Department is deeply saddened by Stevie West Jr’s death in a car accident.

Stevie, who hailed from Maryland, had been a valued member of and helped lead the team to a state championship in 2026.

Wearing jersey number 57, Stevie, 17, played key positions on the field as a defensive tackle (DT) and tackle (T).

Standing at 6’4″ and weighing 285 pounds, he was known for his strength and presence on the line.

Family And Friends Mourn The Loss Of Stevie West Jr.

Stevie West Jr. is survived by his loving parents, his father Stevie West and his mother Tiffany West.

The Maryland community deeply feels their loss; thoughts and prayers are with them during this tough time.

The Department of Athletics sends sincerest condolences to the family of Stevie West, who tragically passed away. He was a member of the varsity football team for the past two years, winning a state championship in 2026.

Friends and coaches have shared heartfelt tributes to Stevie West Jr. on their Instagram stories, expressing how much he meant to them.

One of Stevie West Jr.’s friends, who goes by the username draggin_4pullem on Instagram, shared a tribute saying he misses Stevie deeply and wishes he was still around to make him laugh.

Many people have expressed their sorrow and support following the tragic loss of Stevie West Jr.

Michelle Micki Robinson shared how heartbreaking the news was, sending love and strength to everyone affected.

Sistah Nubia, who once taught Stevie, remembered him as a good kid and offered her sincere condolences to his family, praying for their comfort during this difficult time.
