On June 10, 2026, the world lost Elizabeth J “Liz” Schilinski-Spotti, a vibrant 44-year-old known for her energy, infectious laugh, and love for wrestling.
Liz Schilinski was born in Slovan, Pennsylvania, to Mara and John Schilinski in October 28, 1980, in Washington, PA.
She grew up with her siblings: John Jr., Luke, Rachel, Sally, and Zach. Her life revolved around family, friends, and a strong passion for her favorite sport.
Liz Schilinski-Spotti’s love for wrestling wasn’t just a hobby; it was a way of life.
A fierce supporter of collegiate wrestling, particularly Oklahoma State and Penn State, Liz was a constant presence in the stands, cheering with unmatched enthusiasm.
As a wrestling sponsor, she poured her heart into supporting young athletes, helping them chase their dreams on the mat.

Family and friends will gather to celebrate Liz’s life at Graff-Nation Funeral and Cremation Service LLC on Friday, June 13, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the National Wrestling Hall of Fame, 405 West Hall of Fame Avenue, Stillwater, OK 74075, a cause close to Liz’s heart.
