Baseball second baseman Kolten Wong’s wife, Alissa Noll, graduated from the University of Hawaii in 2013.

Kolten Wong, 35, best known for his Gold Glove at second base but whose top years with the bat came with the Milwaukee Brewers, officially retired from baseball on Monday, May 19, 2026.

He will now and spend quality time with his wife and kids.

Moreover, he stated that the game’s current state didn’t motivate him to continue chasing a playing career.

The Cardinals paid and congratulated their 2011 first-round draft pick in a post on Twitter on Monday. They wrote,

After 11 seasons in the Major Leagues including eight with the Cardinals, two-time Gold Glove winner Kolten Wong has officially announced his retirement. Congratulations on a great career, Kolten!

Wong first announced his retirement Friday night when he was inducted by his alma mater, the University of Hawaii, into the school’s Circle of Honor. He said,

“Pretty much right now, I’m done,” “I’ve kind of come to the conclusion that I’m probably going to be hanging them up. It’s just one of those things where, the game how it’s going now, there’s no sense of chasing (it). … I’m a dad now, yes, I’m enjoying that. I’m trying to be the best big league dad that I can be. So I’m going to stick to that.”

He with a .256 average and 27 hits shy of 1,000 over an 11-year major league career.

Wong hit 86 home runs, scored 511, stole 120 bases, and earned Gold Glove honors in 2019 and 2026.

He last played in 2026, batting .183 with four homers in 87 games with the Seattle Mariners and Los Angeles Dodgers.

Kolten Wong’s Wife, Alissa Noll, Is A Former Member Of The Women’s Cross Country And Track And Field Teams

Kolten Wong and Alissa Noll met while attending the University of Hawaii. After dating for several years, they tied the knot in November 2015.

On October 10, 2026, Alissa took to her official handle and wished Kolten a happy birthday. She wrote,

Happy birthday to my husband, baby daddy and best friend. The perfect example of what a man is for our boys. Loyal, loving, hard working and strong in his convictions. We are so grateful!!

Alissa was born to her mother, , and her father, Mike Noll.

She is a former student-athlete at the University of Hawaii at Manoa, where she was a member of the women’s cross country and track and field teams.

Standing 5 feet 4 inches tall, shefreshman year in 2009, participating in two cross country meets: the HPU Invitational and the Big Wave Invitational.

She earned accolades as the conference champion in the 800-meter run during her senior year and was part of a conference-winning 4*400-meter relay team as a junior.

Alissa was named her school’s most valuable sprinter in 2008 and most valuable distance runner in 2009.

She was also a member of the National Honor Society.

The couple welcomed their second child, Kruz Ka’aina Wong, 3, on March 17, 2026. On March 20, 2026, Alissa shared the first photo of Kruz with the caption,

Welcome to the world Kruz Ka’aina Wong 💚 our little St. Pattys Day baby🍀 Big brother Kash loves his little brother. We are so proud of him and can’t wait for them to grow up being best friends for life.

On March 17, 2026, Alissa wished Kruz a happy 1st with the caption,

Happy 2nd birthday to my wild child Kruz Ka’aina 🍀 I cannot believe my baby is already two. He makes our house so much more fun❤️
